National Walking Month - May 2025

National Walking Month is back!

This May, people will be encouraged to walk more than they typically would. This doesn’t have to be tedious though - Living Streets are hosting the #try20 challenge where people are asked to walk for 20 minutes a day, everyday in May.

There are a range of benefits to increased walking, such as:

  • Increased mental alertness;

  • Increased energy;

  • Improved mood;

  • Healthier heart.
